Bichectomy, also known as "Hollywood Cheek," aims to create more defined cheek lines by removing fat from the cheeks. Many Hollywood celebrities in the United States have had this operation. 

 

It takes about 20 minutes and is performed under local anesthesia. During the operation , an incision of approximately 1 cm is made inside the mouth. Through this incision, excess fat pads on the cheek are removed.  It leaves no recognizable scars. The patient is discharged from the hospital on the same day.

 

Liquids should be favored on the first day after surgery. You can gradually transition to regular food the following day. The sutures must be kept sterile using mouthwash for the duration of the first week. Within three weeks, the final appearance of the cheek begins to emerge.
